You are pretty unfamiliar with corporate enterprise, mapaneri, if you
don't know the difference between the CEO and a Board member.  The
former is the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation and runs the
business.  Board members may contribute expertise in one way or
another, but as often are chosen as tokens for publicity. Some
companies need a former political official, a women, a black, an
oriental, etc. depending on the business.
