The Statute says the ballots must be postmarked either overseas or at an APO or FPO office. It also says the ballots must be executed and witnessed on or before election day. Case law and common law are both clear on the only means to substantiate that ANY legal document was executed and witnessed on or before the due date - and that means is the date of the postmark. Kathleen Harris has concurred with that opinion and has so stated, and her interpretation of the statutes involved in this election has been upheld by the courts in all respects to date. There is no reason to expect that any judge is going to overturn more than a hundred years of precedent as to how one substantiates that a document was processed and mailed in a timely fashion. The burden of evidence in trying to convince anyone - including me - that such an interpretation is flawed is upon you, given the manifest weight of the evidence in the other direction. -- -- Karl Denninger (karl@denninger.net) Internet Consultant & Kids Rights Activist http://www.denninger.net Cost-effective Consulting Solutions http://childrens-justice.org SIGN THE UPREPA PETITION AT THIS SITE TODAY!
