JOB TITLE:  Database Designer/Systems Analyst

JOB/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:  Needed for designing an efficient corporate
database infrastructure to support both on-line transaction processing
and on-line analytical processing systems.  

Minimum Requirements:  BSCS; minimum of 2 yrs of database
administration exp., with  a minimum of 3 yrs in-depth exp in logical
and physical RDBMS design for OLTP and/or OLAP systems.  Working
knowledge of IDEF1x and IE data modeling methodologies.  Technical
admn. knowledge of RDBMS systems, which includes system configuration
and internals, physical & logical database design concepts, and good
knowledge of database access languages and tools.  Ability to create
entity relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams in order to
translate a logical data model into a physical data model.  Experience
in creation of a data dictionary.  Familiar with "state-of-the-art"
techniques such as data driven methodologies, object oriented
programming and design, CASE tools and their interaction with a
database environment.

Specific Responsibilities:
*Develop application and enterprise ERDs, LDMs, and PDMs. 
*Provide consulting and mentoring on database/architectural technical
issues across projects.  
*Consult on installation and adminstration of client based datbase
related software componenets.  Provide consulting and mentoring on
software development methodologies and life cycle deliverables.
*Provide consulting and mentoring on database query development,
requiring proficiency in interpreting data and process models, and
relating them to access mechanisms.
*Contribute to the maintenance of database related architectural
component documentation, and other repository based constructs.



COMPENSATION:  $48k-$60k per year

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT:  Permanent
