It has an ethernet card that came with it. I bought if from someone but they did not have any software to go with it. I upgraded to OS 8.1 but now I have to find the older software for the Communication Slot Ethernet card. The card is a Apple 1993 CS Twisted-Pair Card. It is not a built in Ethernet like the power macs have. I have searched and can not find it. Do you think I could buy it form Apple? --------------787057996CCF6AF32969E84C Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="anns-shot.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Ann Harper Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="anns-shot.vcf" begin:vcard n:Harper;Ann tel;fax:(718) 855-3097 tel;home:(718) 855-1305 tel;work:(718) 855-1305 x-mozilla-html:FALSE url:http://www.anns-shot.net/ adr:;;;;;; version:2.1 email;internet:ann@anns-shot.net x-mozilla-cpt:;3 fn:www.anns-shot.net end:vcard --------------787057996CCF6AF32969E84C--

Are you sure you don't have an 'Ethernet' option in the AppleTalk control panel? Don't forget that you *must* have a network connected before the ethernet card will work. If the Mac doesn't detect an ethernet network on startup, it won't use the card. Paul
