I blame it on the Baptists (no flames please). I live in Duluth where the libraries are closed on Sundays - that's the day for worship! Penn. is really wierd - all hard liquor and wine is sold in state stores only, staffed by state employees! And expensive! Beer is available in delis and grocery stores; there are distributors who will deliver beer to your house! There are a lot of states with no Sunday package sales; Indiana and Ohio come to mind.
