I read an article in the AJC a few months ago that GT poly-sci
prof Dan Papp was considering running for congress. Does anybody
have any more info on this? I believe he was going to challenge
the honorable Newt Gingrich (new 6th district?).
Since GT has near universal email/net access for
staff/faculty/students (which is cool as all hell and a testimony to
the good job the Unix systems guys do at GT), I wonder if Dan reads
the net and if so, perhaps he can post info on his campaign (or at
least whether it exists or not).
And if we can get Dan participating in the local groups, then maybe
we can ge the honorable Newt a guest account somewhere and have
some online high level debates.
(if somebody in the GT poly-sci dept could print this out and pass it
on to prof papp, that might be a start).
thanks,
glenn
