When I first hit town (early 90's) I used to go to these meeting every
month but hadn't been for about 10 years until this spring.
Amazingly the core group is pretty much all the same folks.
One of the members hooked me up with a UUCP connection ~1993
and I used to let a bunch of people dial into my Linux box
for email and usenet. God, I don't miss diagnosing modem problems!

I wish AUUG hadn't moved way up to perimeter (not near the MARTA station!)
No way am I driving up there during rush hours

I bet Earthlink or *somebody* in midtown/downtown would host them

Oh well
