I've crossed this over to atl.general for personal convenience.

I looked over your posts, and I'll alleviate your confusion.

This particular group is an opinion forum, not a sales forum.
Attempting to sell a product in this NewsGroup (NG) ga.general is
considered poor form. It is a definition of what is commonly called
"spam" in this particular forum. This is a "moderated" forum, which
means there is a person who has volunteered to "filter" posts of
spammish nature.

I'd find out who it was, if this person wasn't doing an excellent job.

Normally, you'd get an "re" like mine prior to any actions... I'm going
to guess that aol or your ISP intercepted the post or went overboard, no
form letter etc. prior to your predicament.

So... is there a Newsgroup to sell your wares? Why yes, there is.

BTW (By The Way) It's a really, really bad idea to post your e-mail
address/phone number etc., in the Groups (NGs). There is software to
skim just such information for serious spammers.

Come play, talk, yell, rail, scream, inform, advise, obfuscate, or
educate. Just swung by while setting a vitriolic crosspost about FCC
actions on 96 Rock. My home in the groups is atl.general.

Hope you leave this post with a better understanding of the NGs and
their function.

My best to you and your future prosperity.

(Sales pitches are verbotten in the NGs with the sole exception of
Groups created for the purpose of selling things.)
