While I agree in principle that voting rights and civil rights are fine, I
will NOT agree that the laws pertaining to these areas are fine.  Why is it
that the "voting rights" laws ONLY apply to certain states?  They ONLY apply
to Southern states, but some of the biggest voting rights violations happen
OUTSIDE of the South, and have since the founding of the country!  There has
been more violence and voting disruptions based upon race and ethnicity in
New York and California than in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi
combined!
