Then you have your correction.  The Sons of Confederate Veterans, both on
the state and international levels, have passed numerous resolutions
condemning the use of the Confederate flag by the Klan and other racist
organizations.  The SCV tried to, as the documented descendants of the
Confederate soldiers, copyright the "Southern Cross" battle flag design, the
SCV's official flag, back in the late 1950's, immediately after the Klan
started using it.  The copyright was denied on the basis that the flag was
in the "public domain" and anyone could use it.
    If you want instances of the Sons of Confederate Veterans publicly
condemning the flag being taken over by racist, all you have to do is look
through the copies of the Confederate Veteran, the official magazine of the
SCV.

BTW, I am, of course, assuming that you are speaking of the Sons of
Confederate Veterans since there is no such organization as the Sons of the
Confederacy.  You have been watching too many Atlanta news shows, they
coined this new term after barnes changed the flag to confuse the public.
The term "Sons of the Confederacy" implies that it is a group which wants to
rebuild the Confederacy, while the Sons of Confederate Veterans is an
organization dedicated to preserving the MEMORY of the valiant soldiers who
fought for their states when they were invaded by a foreign power.
Preserving the memory of the Confederate Soldiers, known throughout the
world of military affairs as some of the most dedicated and valiant men who
ever lived, is our primary goal.  The attacks on the most remembered symbol
of the Confederacy are also attacks on the memory of those soldiers.  The
"Confederate Battle Flag" is the most remembered symbol of these soldiers,
held in reverence by the soldiers themselves after following it into battle
for four long years on some of the bloodiest battlefields in history.
