The week after next, the building power is going to be shut down on
Tuesday (29th) and Thursday (31st) mornings.  Given that there probably
won't be anyone here at 0630 to shut the computer systems down, we're
probably going to have to shut down the previous evening.  So Unix
will probably be shut down from Monday evening to Tuesday noon, and
similarly from Wednesday evening to Thursday noon.  The exact shutdown
time has not been fixed, but it's possible that we simply won't come
back up after backups on those days.  Anyone who will be terribly
inconvenienced by this should speak up now.
