Theatre Gael will present an encore performance of its highly acclaimed play,
"Remembering When," on Monday, July 27 at 8:00 pm on Stage II of the 
14th Street Playhouse.  Tonight's performance is a benefit for Group 75 of
Amnesty International.  Admission is only $5.00.  

The 14th Street Playhouse is located at the corner of 14th and Juniper in
Midtown.

The following is a summary of a news release from the theatre:

  Although created as a show for children, "Remembering When" will appeal to
  audiences of all ages.  It describes the adventures and friendships of an
  African-American slave and an immigrant Irish indentured servant in Georgia
  in the 1840's.  The play offers insight into the meaning of friendship and
  trust, as well as celebrating two rich cultures in a new land.  According to
  the author of the play, "`Remembering When' expands out ideas about Children's
  theatre by gently introducing difficult issues such as racism, slavery, and
  self-esteem."

This sounds like a great show for a family, but I think it will be interesting
for us grownups as well.  You can't beat the price, and it's even for a good
