As far as normal Windows stuff goes, you're okay with the K6-- it keeps up,
isn't buggy [:)] and handles MMXish stuff well.

However, in DOS mode, the K6 reeks. This is _not_ the chip to play Quake 
with.

I don't know that this will be a problem-- everything's going MMX, and if 
the Intel processors are in MMX mode, the FPU is similarly crippled. 

However, with Intel going to the "Slot one" spec for plugging in processor
cards, this could well screw the AMD folks, what with two different 
motherboard specs being required, the "old style" socket 7 boards may go
out the window. 

It's _still_ not an easy decision.
