First-Rate Print Quality
Quality images are vital to business success. Featuring a crisp 600
dots-per-inch resolution with NEC's exclusive Sharp Edge Technology (SET)
and 124 levels of gray, the SuperScript 1260 laser printers produce
professional-quality documents with sharp lines, smooth curves, and a full
range of definition. A graphical interface and customizable driver provide
fast access to valuable printing features, including watermark, two-sided,
proof sheet (n-up), booklet, poster, and photocopy-ready printing.

Multi-Platform Printer Driver Support
The SuperScript 1260 works with Windows(r) 3.1x, Windows(r) 95/98/2000,

The SuperScript 1260 laser printer has the speed, power, and adaptability to
handle a variety of networking environments, including Novell(r) NetWare(r),

Upgrade Features
An array of upgrade features add remarkable versatility to the SuperScript
1260 and 1260N laser printers. Memory can be upgraded using
industry-standard SIMMs. And while the SuperScript 1260N comes equipped with
a Network Interface Card preinstalled, the SuperScript 1260 can be
transformed into a fully networked printer with the purchase of a Network
Interface Upgrade Kit.

Expandable, Superior Paper Handling
The SuperScript 1260 laser printer has expandable paper capacity and special
handling features that enable easy printing on transparencies, labels,
envelopes, and many sizes and types of paper. An optional 500-sheet paper
feeder increases paper-handling capacity to a maximum of 830 sheets - and an
envelope casette or a face-up output tray expands printer capabilities even
more.

Multiple Printer Language Suppport and Fonts
The SuperScript 1260 and 1260N laser printers support Adobe PrintGear, HP(r)
PCL(r) 4 emulation, and come with 78 Type 1 fonts and 7 resident PCL fonts.
An Adobe PostScript 3 software printing option is available and includes an
additional 136 Type 1 fonts.
