The original - with all the bells and whistles, including AppleTalk, serial cable/null modem and other connection, and Postscript printer language. This baby cost over 2 grand when it was new, and it's darn near that (new) now, as it has just over 24k prints made. However.... The pickup rollers have given up the ghost. It's not a very challenging repair, and the manual feed still works just fine. If you wanted to replace the rollers, they're about 8 bux each, and there are three of them. Years of exposure turned them to gum. You'd likely get another 15 years out of the new ones as I did out of the originals. This fine machine will work with Apple and MSDos and Windows machines (it's currently connected to my DOS/W3.1 machine), and I'd bet there's drivers for it in Linux - but I've never tried it. I'll throw in a custom made 10' cable (serial/null modem, which Apple calls 'printer cables'), two books on Postscript editing and the remainder of the cartridge and the various other NIB supplies related to cartridges. It's got the original manual, paper tray and catcher tray. Best yet, it's free to a good home. However, at that price, you'll have to come get it. I'm in Cumming and usually available during the day and weekends, both. However, as the holiday concert season approaches, I'm also mostly available in the evenings as well, with a couple of exceptions. I'm sure we can work it out. Drop me a line if you want this magnificent youngster. First come, first served, as with the other printers in the past, of course. L8R Skip
