Software Configuration and Control Position
Required skills:
Knowledge of Unix and DOS.
Knowledge of Windows NT would be a plus.
Experience in using commercial version control software would also
be a plus.
Individual must highly organized and able to work with others. Good
verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Job Description:
Perform configuration control of a large multi-language engineering
software package across a variety of computer platforms including
Sun, HP, and IBM Unix workstations and PC's operating under DOS,
Windows NT and Windows 95.
Perform QA of the above software which involves the execution of a
suite of test jobs and the comparison of the results against known
solutions or previous computer results. Document the results of
the QA and archive the results.
Test and maintain scripts and procedures for the installation and
execution of the software.
Document QA procedures. Assist users with installation of software.
