WREK-Atlanta 91.1fm is Georgia Tech's student radio station.

Live at WREK is the show where we let local bands come in to our studios
and play live on the air. It airs every Tuesday night from 10-11pm.

                    Performing tonight, May 18th:

	  	        Man.... Or Astroman?

This atlanta-by-way-of-Auburn-by-way-of-Venus band plays surf-rock in a
daring, brave, and--dare I say it?--ethical manner. They're from outer
space and they've come to rock our world in ways we never thought
possible. Feel the force... EXPERIENCE MAN... OR ASTROMAN!!!!!

Since we're still off the air due to a lightning strike, the only way to
listen in is through our ReadAudio stream: go to www.wrek.org and click on
the WREK-net link. There's also a 7 day archive, so you can go back and
listen to the performance anytime during the coming week (you can also
download the entire RealAudio file through the Live at WREK page).

Do you know any bands that want to play Live at WREK? Send a recording
to:

Live at WREK
c/o WREK Atlanta 91.1fm
165 8th st NW
Atlanta, GA 30332-0630

Sound quality is relatively unimportant, as is format (just don't send us
DAT's or MiniDiscs or anything like that. CD's, tapes, vinyl are all ok).
Make sure to include contact info.

All,

Due to miscommunication and unusual circumstances, Man... Or Astroman?
aren't going to be playing LIve at WREK tonight. Look for them to play
for us sometime in July, and in the meanwhile, they are playing Thursday
night at the Masquerade for those who are interested.

I'm going to try to regularly post the Live at WREK upcoming schedule so
keep an eye out--you never know who might grace our studios.
