Now look at what those two groups have in common, shall we?  In the US,
African American Black People of Color have been traditionally supressed,
condescended to, assumed to be less intelligent, victims of prejudice, and
generally treated unfairly.  More recently some people have been working
on that, but there are still large segments of the population who believe
the stereotypes and act accordingly.

In the UK/Ireland...there is hate, general religious difference/enmity,
suppression, prejudice... Gee.  It seems to me that a group of people who
are suppressed might get violent.  Some of them anyway.  Some of them
might try peaceful protest, but without a STRONG, visible leader, you
don't get much of anywhere.

So fuck you, sideways, with a rusty chainsaw, with acid
dispensers.  Believing and propagating a stereotype (that any particular
group of people is worlwide likely to be "more violent" than any
other) is one of the most revolting concepts.
