| statistics.  As you no doubt no,  they will usually say anything if
| tortured enough :)  But there was no deception.  The page clearly says
| "arrests" above the list.

But your comment as an introduction to that table was __With all due respect,
blacks committed 53.4 % of murders in US in 1998.__ If you go to the original
source of the data (FBI Uniform Crime Reports) you will find that arrests
cleared only 69% of the murder cases that year, the other 31% of cases that
year could have all been committed by other races (but no data is presented in
the reports to draw that conclusion). Plus 1999 data is available on the same
site http://www.fbi.gov/ucr.htm and you could have at least been current.
