Anybody else get this spam? Any ideas on how to end it? I called the company, calmly expressed my displeasure, and asked to be taken off the list. We'll see what happens. Randy

Giving you a 99.99998% chance of receiving more spam from them.
Complain to their ISP, and their ISP's ISP. This spam appears to come
from a Compuserve (now AOL) dialup. The karri.southwest.com.au line is
either bogus or an hijacked relay: why would someone in Australia want
to advertise for a company here in Atlanta? The From: line is bogus,
the Message-ID has been cloaked, and the reply-to line is also bogus.
See why spammers are held in the same wide regard that child molesters,
pond scum, and cockroaches are?
Anyway, Birth^H^H^H^HBenchmark Printing Supply is a notorious spammer,
and they will spam whomever whenever and whereever. Call them up, or
better yet, go to the store *in person* and bitch them out, saying one
or more of the following things:
* spam is trespassing
* spam is not guaranteed (ie, spam != free speech) by the First Amendment
* spam is theft of resources
* you were stealing property from the State of Georgia
* you used a State of Georgia computer without authorization
* I am definitely supporting Rep. Chris Smith's anti-spam bill now (HR
1748)
Imply that they are now guilty of at least three crimes (trespass,
theft, and use of state equipment for personal gain).

True Source of The Spam!!!!!!!!

Congratulations! You have been spammed by Scumbag Sam, the infamous Atlanta
toner spammer, forger and thief. His real name is Sam Khuri and he is also
known as Sammy Curry. He has done business as Benchmark Printer Supply,
Benchmark Builders, and Vertex Technologies. Sammy has no less than six
liens filed against him in Dekalb county, Georgia.
Big Hint:
Don't send him any money!! COD only!
On his (now defunct) web page Sammy claimed that he had an accomplice who
worked for Compuserve and protected his account from being cancelled for
spamming. This seems to be true as he has been allowed to spam from
Compuserve with impunity since April of 1997. Complain often to
abuse@compuserve.com but do not hold your breath as Compuserve's abuse
department seems to be brain-dead these days.
You might try complaining to some other of Sammy's phone numbers;
770-698-8698 (fax)
770-512-0083
770-399-4226
770-399-0953
770-399-5038
These numbers ring at Scumbag Sam's home so no out of hours calls please!
If you live in the Atlanta area do not deliver any over-ripe marsupial
roadkill to his driveway. His Dunwoody neighbors are upset with him as it
is.
If you cause Scumbag Sam enough trouble he will remove you from his list
but this is quite a bit of work.

And call them collect from a pay phone to complain.
