Hi there!

This is a translation of a previous message I've posted in Spanish.
I've translated this with two things in mind:
1.Many friends have been asking me what the heck I said
2.Some argentinians may not read the news and so, maybe you can let
   them know of this idea

Anyway, here it is

I am a PhD student in CoC (College of Computing). I arrived here two
years ago from Patagonia and, like probably many of you, alone like
 a dog!

Once, walking down Atlantic Dr I overheard two guys speaking Spanish
with an accent I could recognize (the good/bad thing about us is that
we can be assign any nationality; since I have been here I have been
taken by Italian, French, Greek, Albanian (?!!?), from somewhere in the
middle east, ....). The guys were Pedro and Mario, two great guys that
helped me more than once since then.
More important to me: for a while I didn't feel so disconnected, so
 pariah.

A quarter ago, while looking at a place for Argentinias in the web,
 I thought about this:

Why not to make a support group for us. We could publish this in two
well known newspapers at home, on the web, ...
When someone from home moves to Atlanta he/she can get in touch with
us. We can locate the person, pick him/her up from the Airport,
help him/her to get a house, find a car, by "yerba", ...
We can have a bbq like at home (Gosh I really need that!) ...

 What do you think

 Send mail if you can

Fabian
