Welcome to IEEE Visualization 95
The sixth annual IEEE Visualization conference will have the strongest
and most varied technical program ever. This year we will extend our
focus to all aspects of data and information visualization with
applications ranging across scientific, medical, engineering, business,
and entertainment fields. For the first time, we will have 3 Symposia
(Parallel Rendering, Information Visualization, and Biomedical
Visualization). In addition you will have your pick of a full slate of
tutorials on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. The technical program on
Wednesday will begin with a Keynote Address and Panel, followed by
concurrent sessions of papers, panels, and case studies presenting the
latest issues, research, and applications in visualization.
Demonstrations of visualization products, tools, and applications will
begin mid-day on Wednesday and continue through Thursday afternoon.
Birds of a Feather sessions are scheduled on several days throughout
the conference.
We encourage you to join us in Atlanta the week of October 30 -
November 3, 1995 for IEEE Visualization 95. You will have a unique
opportunity to confer with researchers, developers, and your
colleagues. Dont miss this conference, or you will miss the most
effective compilation of significant topics in visualization this
year.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE:
Please sign up at the conference hotel. We understand that you are all
on a budget, but so are we. We need your hotel room reservations in the
Vis 95 block at the conference hotel, or else the conference has to pay
extra for the conference rooms. Because we have a heavy AV
requirement, we have to book a hotel that has large conference rooms
and high ceilings. There arent many of those who will book a small
conference like ours. Please help us out by supporting the conference
hotel. We dont want to have to raise our rates to cover hotel
penalties.
