LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO THIS SUMMER? 

Why not come join the Student Pugwash National Staff in Washington, DC? 
We are now taking applications for summer internships and we are very
interested in hiring students or recent grads involved in the SPUSA
Chapter Program. 

The Program Assistants are considered staff members and participate in
office discussions and meetings, editing of organizational and
programmatic materials and general office functions. Because we are a
small office, Program Assistants are able to take the lead on a variety of
projects (meaning we won't have you stuck at the photocopier or answering
phones all summer). 

Projects for Program Assistants include:

-Reasearching and designing the NEW CAREERS DIRECTORY

-Creating advertizing strategies for the organization and individual
programs

-Coordinating the upcoming Chapter Organizing

-Computer work- maintaining our Web page, getting resources on-line,
redesigning the Chapter Program database

-and many, many more exciting things!!!!


We really want to encourage you to think about becoming a Program
Assistant. The office is a great place to get to know SPUSA on the
national level, to have fun with a really wacky group of co-workers, and
to get some great work experience.
