I've had difficulties building bash on our Symmetry. If I undef _POSIX_VERSION by hand after any includes get sys/unistd.h, then things compile. But the Makefile does not generate a good bash-Makefile, so the lib/ and builtins/ directories don't get built. Note that on our dynix/ptx Symmetry, things worked just fine! Also, 1.08 was easy enough to hack so that I could build it on our dynix machine, so I'm not totally out in the cold here. Does anybody have 1.12 working on a dynix machine setup like ours? Thanks! STEVE
