i would like to use meta keys (as opposed to ESC-<key> combos) in bash, since i am used to using them in emacs and things.. it seems that readline currently does not except 8 bit chars (meta chars). is there a fix for this? make all chars unsigned? some stty command to pass 8 bit chars? am i the only one? i have not seen anything on this subject. thanks.. _, __ _ _, ___(_)_/ (_</_(_)___ greg@sharebase.com /| /| |/ |/
