Problem installing on I386 AT&T USG 3.2
#876

Hello.

I'm trying to install BASH on our stock AT&T System V r3.2 system running on
an Intel 386 based machine.

The problem occurs when make reaches newversion.c, saying that it has a syntax
error at line 172 (after the End of the file).

I am assuming that this is a product of AT&T's abysmal include file
organization (It usually is) and can be fixed with a simple change in order or
switch to a different #include..

I've looked at all the installation docs, README, INSTALLATION, machines.h,
config.h, sysdeps.h, etc.. and haven't the foggiest clue as to how to fix this
problem..

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks

P.S. I made every attempt to consult available documentation and other
resources. if there's an FAQ somewhere that I missed, just douse the flames
and throw me a pointer to it. thanks.
