Hello. I recently installed BASH on a number of our machines at this site, everyone loves it. Just one problem: Occasionally the shell seems to get into a mode where it does not do a newline when you press enter, also keypresses are not echoed to the user's terminal.. I've found two ways to trigger this condition: hitting and holding down the DEL (interrupt) key, and/or exiting from a screen based app such as ELM.. If anyone knows of a fix for this please let me know since its seriously hampering ELM's usability as our main shell.. Another bug which is also quite confusing/frustrating is that ELM spews getcwd: cannot find parent errors every now and again which seem to foul up shell scripts.. I'd appreciate any help people could give on this matter. Thank you. -Chris Patti feoh@gnu.ai.mit.edu chrisp@madmax.interlan.com chrisp@summit.interlan.com
