I get an "Illegal move" error from gnuchessx for good moves. The errors appear
to be random, but repeatable. Here is one example:
thunder> xboard -size small -debug true
Received from first: Chess
Sending to first: new
beep
random
easy
Received from first: transposition table is 131072

Received from first: Illegal move (no matching move)g1f3
The last move is white King's knight to white Bishop 3. This is a legal move,
but gnuchessx refuses to let me play it.
This problem also shows up when xboard is told to play two machines, although
it usually takes longer.
Another interesting item is that after the first game, after
"gnuchess.book.data" is written, gnuchessx just seems to hang. If you are
running "two machines", you get two gnuchessx processes running full blast,
but neither one actually makes a move. This does _not_ happen with pl58.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers,
Tom McConnell
