GNU Chess for windows has been uploaded to prep. Note this is not the most recent version which is in the file gnuchess-4.0.pl58.tar.Z. This is a port of an earlier version of GNU Chess which has done well. There are bugs in the display windows interface and various recognition of mate, stalemate, and promotion. However, you are welcome to try getting it to run on your DOS/Windows machine. But since it is unsupported, please don't expect help. Stuart
