Can some one send me the source for gnu.ches or matter of fact any chess
programme that is available. Please mail me first before posting So that
dozens of copies don't turn up.
Thanks in advance Peter.

I think my news program do not like me to post anything.
I have a version of gnuchess from May 12, 1989 (last change).
I have found two minor bugs:
1. Pawns can only become queens
2. Gnuchess allows castling with a moved rook, (if moved back)
Both should be easy (take less than a day) to fix.
If anyone have done this, please tell.
If no one else have then I will. (soon)
I got gnuchess from nic.nyser.net in directory /pub/gnu.
Hope this helps!

I just saw this request, and I second it for myself.
If possible, please include any unusual compiler syntax, etc.,
that I should know.
Thanks
Ken
