Patches for Emacs version 18.58 (the latest) including:

		- Subprocessing "the UN*X way"
		- Network support (for now, it is UCX and MultiNet, but with
the help of others, more will get covered)
		- Many previously unusable commands (like compile, shell...)
now work with no or very little change.
		- A very much improved Dired.
		- Better interface to DECWindows.
		- X menus (new in this version) <========

You can get this by sending a message with the following line to
FILESERV@ttt.kth.se:

	SEND EMACS-1858-PATCHES

You will also need UNIX Patch for VMS. If you don't have it, add the following
line to your message:

	SEND DIFF-PATCH

For those who already have patched their copy of Emacs, there is an update
service. This way, you wont have to redo everything. Just send the following
line to FILESERV@ttt.kth.se

	LIST EMACS-1858-UPDATES

for more information.

Any question? Send them to me.

P.S. After x-mas, things will change over here, and the domain ttt.kth.se will
disappear. The file service for Emacs patches will still exist on another
machine. More about that later, when all details get sorted out.
