In GNU Emacs 18.52.6 of Tue Sep 20 1988 on mgm.mit.edu (berkeley-unix)

Function bibtex-entry inserts an unwanted comma after the last entry
if the "optional list" is nil.  A comma is only needed when BOTH the
"required list" and the "optional list" are non-nil.
