bug description
under gnu-emacs 18.58.1
using an aaa-60 terminal with the changes suggested from gnu's /etc/termcap

when I use C-S or C-R searches
if the next key I hit sends an esc the esc is lost
else if the next key I hit is a meta key then it works fine
else any other key works fine

Example key sequence is
C-S ....	finds and moves to the specified string
E-f inserts f in buffer

C-S ....
M-f moves point appropriately

This is not a function of typing speed
Where should I start looking?
