Multiple NNTP server?

Hi!

Did anyone hack NNTP that you can connect to multiple servers at the same time?
What I am thinking of is having a primary server that carries the most groups
and then one or more secondaries from which you'd only read groups that your
primary doesn't have. The use would be for internal and external news for
instance. It should be possible to use the nntp-server definition and the
.newsrc for the primary and then nntp would go through a list of secondaries
and query only the groups that are in a .newsrc-sec file. If someone has such
a beast or would be interested to implement it I could provide more information
on how I'd think this should work (hope the outline above is clear enough).
Thanks!
