(including eff people?). [...] I haven't had time to try it yet. Other things have taken priority. (I haven't installed the nov database yet anyway, so GNUS2 wouldn't do much good to me, would it?) kpc> eff available at eff ??? kpc> 3.14.1 with joe wells' hacks and most of the packages written kpc> for 3.14.1. works. basically a replacement for 3.14.1 and kpc> some of the contributed hacks many people have collected. This is just a marginal cleanup & minor bug fix deal, bundled with some of the better (IMHO) add-ons (including a properly-working version of gnus-user-tale.el). I "maintain" it as much as anyone can be said to; basically I just figured I'd leverage the work I did on the local installation so people elsewhere could take advantage of it. It's not likely to get any more work (in particular, I'm not likely to update it to be in sync with 3.14.3 or gnus2) but is not a bad place to start from if you're installing a "production" GNUS system today. The add-ons and patches are not documented but a good diff -cr against the "regular" 3.14.1 release might be illuminating :) It's ftpable as ftp.eff.org:/users/ckd/gnus3.14.1.eff.01.tar.Z. -- * Christopher Davis * <ckd@eff.org> * <ckd@kei.com> * [CKD1] * MIME * RIPEM *
