I've just managed to get GNUs to read news offline where I get the
groups I wanted to read pulled down to my machine by the 'slurp'
program for Linux.  However, reading is the only thing it can do at
the moment.  Having fiddled about with the 'nnspool-inews-program'
variable, now directing it to the inews script I have in
/usr/local/lib/news/inews, getting rid of the error that it couldn't
find the program inews that I had before.

When I check the processes running during it 'posting', this script is
running, but afterwards, nothing is gettting added to my mail queue to
be sent out when I next connect to my POP to send mail/receive news,
etc.

I am running Linux Slackware 1.2, with I think the C News package, but
there is this inews script in there which my other newsreader I have,
tin, is running and posting without any problem.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you may have,
