The functions that deal with "words"; like forward-word, backward-word, word-search-forward, etc, consider underscore '_' as a word terminator. So something like C_DEFINITION would be considered three "words"; C, _ and DEFINITION. Is there some way I can get emacs to treat underscore as part of a word? I may want to do the same thing with dash. Thanks in advance for all useful responses. -- +--------------------------------------------------------+ | Tom Banister banister@serum.kodak.com (716) 253-9823 | +--------------------------------------------------------+
