I have just finished my first emacs installation (sun sparc)

Yes I am quite proud of my self..

But alas I cannot print the documentation

I read the REAME file in /man and it says to run

tex on emacs.tex to produce a printable .dvi file

could some one tell me what tex is , how I get it
and what to do with it??

PS this is also my first news message so be kind please.
