I have recently got emacs v18.59 runningg on a friend's SCO 3.2 v4.2
machine using the development set from an earlier version (3.2 v3.2, I
think) and have a problem with it. When I do a M-x and give a bad command,
or do a M-x load-file and give the name of a non-existant file emacs hangs
with the bell ringing like crazy and "select error Invalid argument"
displayed in the mini-buffer area. Occasionally I can break out of this
using the backspace key (I have ^H defined as backspace). Sometimes I can
^Z suspend it and then kill the process, but there have been times when I
have had to hang up (oh yeah, I'm doing this over the phone).
Any pointers on this?
