Subject: Re: GNU elisp manual

I have obtained the elisp manual of 1 April 1989 and tried printing it out.
I get thousands of errors. I can print the GNU Emacs manual out
without any trouble.
The kinds of errors I get are @ref undefined, Undefined control
sequence: \Arrow, etc.

Any ideas?

The April 1989 edition of the elisp manual is not printable
with the texinfo.tex in your emacs distribution. A version
of texinfo.tex that works is not yet available. You can
print the old edition if you really need to.
