vm5.31 - problems reading Sun mailtool replies

Please forgive me if this has already been covered lately.

Vm doesn't seem to handle mail replies generated by Sun's mailtool
(OWV3) well. Here's a simplified example of a message sent from
mailtool.

You see mailtool includes the whole message, headers and all. What vm
tells me is that there are two messages in my mailbox. Vm seems to be
just looking for the From: headers, and does not appear to look at the
Context-length header, if it exists.

Any clues? Is this a bug or a feature? Any workarounds?

Thanks in advance,

Jon
