vm digest bug

Sorry if this has already been reported, but I've found that in VM 5.32.L
that (spurious) "null" messages in a digest cause VM to hang when they are
selected. For example, the attached two-message digest excerpt results in
three bursted messages, the second of which causes a hang if selected.

In previous versions of VM (5.31), three messages were also created, but
the second one, consisting of the single line:

<jb2@math.ucdavis.edu>

could be selected and deleted OK.

Subject: Alias question (Q)

Hi, all!

If this is a FAQ, then my apologies, but ...

.. aliases of apps that I keep on my Desktop preserve their
``drag-and-drop-iness,'' :-) but aliases of apps that I keep in
folders (I have a LaunchPad folder, for example) lose their
``drag-and-drop-iness.'' :-(

Anyone know why? And how can I fix this?

Thanks for your help.

Subject: Apple's lousy computers

Clearly, mileage may vary. In an academic setting I have owned 4 PCs
of the IBM and clone thereof variety and five Macs from Plus through
a current IIci. Three of the four PCs, an IBM, a Dell and a nameless clone
all required major repairs. In the same time period, none of the Macs
ever needed more than a new battery.

So, I am resigned to behaving on the principle that high tech, state
of the art things may break down, and I buy based on the belief that
computers are basically well built and I will chose what fits best the
task at hand. I still have both Macs and high end PCs.
