CTRSCI.UTAH.EDU has patches available for 18.52 unde VMS DecWindows.
Probably they work just fine in 18.55. It also fixes the compose key
to be the Meta key.  They are available for anonymous ftp in tar format.
There is also a VMS tar available if you need it. I'm quite curious if
these changes will make it into the standard distribution, if anyone 
can comment on that.
