Here are my comments on some of the files you mentioned.

* APPLE

  Please keep, out of respect for the wishes of the FSF.

* BABYL, CCADIFF, DIFF, GOSDIFF, ONEWS, OONEWS

  These files are useful documentation.

* celibacy.1, sex.6

  There is Emacs Lisp code which won't be useful if these files are
  removed.  Also, the combination is a good joke.

* emacstool.1, emacstool.c

  Are you distributing Andy Norman's gnuserv instead?  If not, how do you
  plan to replace this functionality?  These two files are very useful.
