Standard tricks with epoch?

Epoch was recently installed on my RS/6000 and I am
having a hard time hard time figuring out how people
actually use the extra features that Epoch provides
(there are no devoted Epoch users here). The TeXinfo
information is too much a reference book. I have been a
fairly heavy and enthusiastic user of emacs to date.

Can someone summarize for me the ways in which they use
Epoch to be more productive? Can they give me examples
of dotfiles that they use?

	Thanks,

	Henry
