Hello all - I just upgraded to Epoch4.2 and promptly encountered the
much discussed eightbit-keyboard bug. In my case, the system barfs on
M-<key> definitions in isearch-mode. 

The configuration details are as follows:

        Sparc1 running SunOS4.1.3
        Epoch 4.2 with Marc's patch (of 11 Sep 92) to src/keymap.c applied.
        EIGHTBIT-KEYBOARD *not* defined.

Any hints/patches etc. for circumventing this problem will be highly
appreciated.
