I've noticed when using Epoch 4.2 that screen refresh logic is very sub-optimal when compared to Emacs 18.58. Is there some setting or #define that needs to be done to restore the Emacs-style screen refresh logic? I don't see one, as it would appear that the screen display logic is pretty well completely new for Epoch. The reason for asking is that it makes a significant difference when you're using Epoch on the end of a 9.6 kbit XRemote link. Operations which used to use the scroll-region or insert-mode editing now redrway the entire display region. A hugh slowdown at 9.6. please response via email; i'll summarize and re-post. thanks, dsa dsa@cisco.com
