Hi, from time to time I read about a bug in epoch which is referred to as 'Infinite beep mode': A message 'Marker does not point anywhere' is displayed in the minibuffer, and the bell is rung forever. This bug happens quite often with Epoch 4.2.1 on a DECstation (Ultrix 4.2A and X11R5). I can stop this 'mode' only by killing Epoch. My questions: What is the state of the discussion and is there a bug fix available? Any help appreciated Thanks ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | Wolfgang Goettert Lehrstuhl A fuer Verfahrenstechnik, TU Muenchen | | 8000 Muenchen 2, Germany | | wolfgg@urmel.vta.mw.tu-muenchen.de Tel.: +49 89 2105 2840 | ----------------------------------------------------------------------
