Emacs 18.55 can scroll a window noticeably faster than epoch 4.2. For example, with the bottom of the file visible in the window, given the command ^U4^V, emacs seems to jump the text up 4 lines more or less instantaneously, but epoch seems to repaint the window. Is this a bug? I am using sunos 4.1.1 and X11R5 on a sun3 (:-(). Buz
