Concerning the split screen problem that I posted earlier about, I first waned to clarify that I am doing a split-window-horizontally with C-x 5. I think that I said this backwards in my previous note. The other thing that I noticed is that when the screen is split horizontally, and I am on the right hand side of the screen, every time I use the mouse to position the cursor, the cursor is always one character ahead of where the mouse is pointing. This observation is consistent with what I posted in my last note....(almost).....When I try to position the cursor at the end of the line by pressing a mouse button far to the right of the end of the line, then the cursor appears at the beginning of the _next_ line. (I thought originally that it was at the beginning of the same line...not so). My system is an rs/6000 AIX 3.2..... Sounds like it's probably a problem with elisp, but I don't really want to force the time to dig for it if someone know's about the problem. Thanks -mark allender -allender@vnet.ibm.com
